Not dead yet, just busy!

Sorry I haven’t posted lately, I’ve been incredibly busy. I don’t have a finished picture for the pattern I wrote (actually, it’s not even letting me put in the picture I do have! will work on that…), but here’s the pattern:

Drop 1, 2, 3

Materials/Guage: Doesn’t really matter. Pick a yarn and needles, do a swatch with it, and figure out your sts/in. Multiply by the # of inches wide you want the scarf, and cast on that number.

CO required # for your yarn and width.

Row 1-4: K across

Row 5: [K1, YO], repeat to last st, K1

Row 6: K across, dropping all YOs.

Row 7 and 8: K across

Row 9: [K1, YO2], repeat to last st, K1

Row 10: K across, dropping all YOs.

Row 11 and 12: K across

Row 13: [K1, YO3], repeat to last st, K1

Row 14: K across, dropping all YOs.

Row 15 and 16: K across

Row 17: [K1, YO2], repeat to last st, K1

Row 18: K across, dropping all YOs.

Row 19 and 20: K across

Repeat rows 5 through 20, pulling after the K rows to pull down the YOs. They’ll stretch a LOT by doing this, and that’ s what you want. End by K across an extra 2 rows, and bind off.
